The energy label is one of the biggest factors in the WWS point system. For an apartment, the difference between label A and label G is 52 points, which is roughly €350 per month in maximum rent.

No energy label?
If the home has no valid label, the build year is used instead. For example, a home built before 1977 counts as label G, and a home built in 2002 or later counts as label A.
How to find your label
Look up your address for free at ep-online.nl, the official register. The label is often also mentioned in the rental advertisement or contract.
Old homes with label E, F or G are common in city centres and often rented at high prices. Check what your label means for your rent.
